SWINGBRIDGE SURGERY NOTICE BOARD

We were sorry to see Dr Shrouder leave the Practice on 9 October 2009.  Dr Welsh is to become a fulltime partner on 1 Jan 2010 and we welcome Dr A Dar as a fulltime salaried GP on that date.   We also have regular experienced locums employed until that time.

The Practice Team would like to reassure you that the high standard of care we strive to provide will continue, however please bear with us over the next few months which may be difficult.

SEASONAL FLU VACCINATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

The results of our latest Patient Satisfaction Survey dated February 2009 are available in the reception. The overall Practice score was 65% which compares favorably with the National Average of 61% but was slightly lower than last years 71%. The three main areas of positive deviation from the National Benchmark were:

Waiting Time to be called by Doctor/Nurse:  Increase of 10%

Information of Services:  Increase of 10%

Comfort of waiting room:  Increase 10%

Speak to practitioner on the telephone is above National average and patients still have a choice of contacting a doctor three times daily.  Patients can ring at 8.30am, receive a call back a 1 pm or ring at 3.15 pm.

We are happy to report that the most positive responses were as follows:

Respect shown by Doctor 76%

Recommendation of the Practice 75%
